I finally got a high speed internet whateaver thingy. No more dial up. I know, I know. It only took me 6 years to pick up the phone and make a goddamn phone call to the cable company.

The cable guy showed up this afternoon to install it and kept on telling me "This won't take long" and I was unsure if he was trying to convince me or him. 45 minutes later, I was connected. It shouldn't have taken that long, but he watch a few minutes of Judge Judy with me. I'm serious. And then at one point he knocked EVERYTHING off my desk and took it upon himself to not only pick everything up, but place the stuff where HE thought it should go, and we even talked about it. I have to admit, I have more desk space now.

I celebrated my 34th birthday for the 4th year in a row and it was fun. My gf surprised me by driving to my place and she got here around 3AM on Friday morning. I was all excited and couldn't get back to sleep, so needless to say, I was a bit tired at work that day. Luckily, our computers were down at work, so there wasn't much work to be done. Over the weekend, we (well, SHE) painted a wall in my livingroom (Village, from the Ralph Lauren Urban collection), bought a chair for my livingroom, got a microwave oven, picked out paint for the bedroom, made dinner, saw friends, watched WAY too much of the olympics and got some studying done. It was a fantastic birthday, complete with a federal holiday on Monday. Life is good.

Am I the ONLY person out there with an addiction to 'Entourage'?
